- 1 large ripe banana, frozen
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or liquid of choice)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional, for thickness)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Place the frozen banana, frozen mango chunks, almond milk, and Greek yogurt (if using) into a high-speed blender.
- Add the honey or maple syrup if you prefer extra sweetness.
- Secure the lid and blend on low speed initially, gradually increasing to high speed.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more almond milk and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
- Pour immediately into a glass and serve.
Notes
- For a thicker smoothie, use only frozen fruit and reduce the liquid slightly.
- You can substitute almond milk with coconut water or regular dairy milk.
- Add a handful of fresh spinach for extra nutrients without significantly changing the flavor.
- For a protein boost, add one scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder before blending.
