Make flavorful BBQ chicken wraps quickly using pre-cooked chicken and a simple smoky honey sauce. This recipe is designed for busy schedules.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup prepared coleslaw mix
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, and apple cider vinegar to create a quick slaw dressing.
  3. Warm the flour tortillas briefly in a dry skillet or microwave until soft.
  4. Divide the BBQ chicken mixture evenly among the four tortillas, placing it down the center.
  5. Top the chicken mixture on each tortilla with the prepared coleslaw and sprinkle with Monterey Jack cheese.
  6. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom to create a wrap. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for the fastest prep time.
  • For extra flavor, toast the assembled wraps in a hot skillet for one minute per side until golden brown.
  • If you prefer a tangier slaw, substitute the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
