A simple recipe for baking salmon fillets topped with creamy Boursin cheese for a quick, flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lemon, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Rub the top of each fillet lightly with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread one tablespoon of Boursin cheese evenly over the top surface of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the fillets.
  6. Remove from the oven and top each fillet with a thin slice of lemon before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the Garlic & Fine Herbs Boursin with another flavor if you prefer.
  • For extra moisture, you can add a splash of white wine to the baking sheet before cooking.
  • This dish pairs well with steamed asparagus or a side salad.
