  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans (for mixing in)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans or parsley (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, blue cheese, 1/4 cup pecans, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until completely combined and smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands or plastic wrap.
  4. Place the cheese ball on a plate or piece of plastic wrap.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  6. Before serving, roll the chilled cheese ball in the remaining chopped pecans or parsley until fully coated.
  7. Serve with crackers or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • You can make this cheese ball up to two days ahead of time; cover tightly and refrigerate.
  • For a different flavor, substitute the blue cheese with 4 ounces of shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
