Make soft, gooey cinnamon roll bites quickly using refrigerated biscuits. These are baked in a simple brown sugar cream sauce for extra moisture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Unroll the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Toss the cut biscuit pieces in the cinnamon sugar mixture until they are fully coated.
  5. Arrange the coated biscuit pieces in the prepared baking pan.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour this mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces in the pan.
  7. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the center is set.
  8. While the bites cool slightly, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to create a thin glaze.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll bites before serving.

Notes

  • For extra gooey results, let the bites sit in the cream sauce for 5 minutes before baking.
  • You can skip the glaze and serve these warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • If you prefer a thicker glaze, use less milk when mixing the powdered sugar.
