Ingredients
Scale
1/4 cup white chocolate syrup (or 3 tablespoons white chocolate sauce)
2 shots strong brewed espresso (about 2 ounces)
1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup ice cubes
Optional: Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
Prepare the white chocolate base: In a small bowl, combine the white chocolate syrup and the strong brewed espresso. Stir until the chocolate is fully dissolved into the coffee.
Prepare the coffee: If you brewed a full cup of coffee instead of espresso, let it cool slightly. If using espresso, proceed to the next step.
Combine ingredients: Pour the milk and the white chocolate-espresso mixture into a tall glass. Stir well to combine.
Add ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Finish the drink: Top with whipped cream, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a thicker, richer sauce, gently heat 1/4 cup white chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream until smooth, then use this mixture in place of the syrup.
Adjust the amount of syrup based on your preference for sweetness.
You can substitute cold brew concentrate for the espresso for a slightly less intense coffee flavor.
