This recipe provides a quick and easy method for roasting broccolini until it is tender-crisp with slightly charred edges, seasoned with garlic, lemon, and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb broccolini, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the trimmed broccolini on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the broccolini and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the vegetable. Toss again.
  5. Spread the broccolini in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the stems are tender and the tips are slightly browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • For extra char, you can place the baking sheet in the oven while it preheats.
  • If you prefer a softer texture, roast for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor in this quick preparation.
