- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 large egg white
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the egg white until slightly frothy.
- Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and toss to coat lightly with the egg white.
- In a separate small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the coated broccoli. Toss gently until the florets are evenly covered with the Parmesan mixture.
- Spread the coated broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the Parmesan crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Do not overcrowd the baking sheet; use two sheets if necessary to promote crisping.
- Use finely grated Parmesan for the best coating adhesion.
