Make these simple, cheesy pizza sliders using Hawaiian rolls for a perfect game day snack or quick family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12 count) sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese layer.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the pepperoni.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt to create the glaze.
  8. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the buttered rolls.
  10. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops are lightly golden brown.
  11. Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the individual rolls and serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute mozzarella with provolone or a pizza blend cheese mix.
  • For extra flavor, add a few thin slices of cooked bacon or ham with the pepperoni.
  • If you do not have Hawaiian rolls, use any soft slider buns.
