- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

- Drain the canned salmon well. Place the salmon in a medium bowl and flake it apart with a fork until it is mostly fine.
- Add the mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard to the bowl. Mix until just combined.
- Stir in the chopped celery, red onion, and fresh dill.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Serve immediately or chill for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lower-fat option, substitute all mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
- Serve this salad on whole-wheat bread for sandwiches, spooned into crisp lettuce cups, or over a bed of mixed greens.
- If you prefer a less creamy texture, reduce the mayonnaise/yogurt by half.
